Android . Nexus
I picked up a new Nexus 7 (2013 model) the other day on a sweet deal and wanted to use it for my development and debugging. I was surprised that the option for Developers was not enabled by default. To enable developer options do the following:
1. Go to Settings
2. Go to about tablet
3. Tab the Build version 7 times
4. Developer Options will now be enabled.
5. You will also need to install the latest Google USB Driver, which can be found here
Once you do the above and debug in Eclipse or your native development environment your Nexus 7 will not display in your device list.
